Established in 1976 by James Crooks (Jim), Cheers and Beers sourced a variety of products. Tea towel Fundraising was an idea Jim saw in the UK and set about doing it here in little ol’ New Zealand and it became quite popular, with teatowels.co.nz launching at the dawn of the internet.
In 2013 we lost a truly great gentleman in Jim, teatowels.co.nz was purchased by Jim’s longtime Screen printer. We still bring in our own tea towels and we still do the Classic Tea Towel Fundraiser.

At Graphics on Shirts Limited we can brand and supply all of your apparel requirements, however while we have accounts with all major local suppliers such as Biz Collection, AS Colour, Syzmik, BMV, Cloke, James Harvest, Gildan, Biz Collection Stormtech etc and we import and stock our own 100% Cotton Tea Towels for screen printing.
We offer three main methods of branding:
Screen Printed Teatowels are our main product, we utitilise water based dye to ensure the end result is water absorbent and soft. Using this process the ink effectively sits inside of the cotton itself.
We do also print Plastisol onto apparel and some other textiles.
While Waterbased Screenprinting is the best method for Teatowels. Embroidery is great for Shirts and Aprons and is long lasting and look extremely classy.
Digital printing is a great option when printing a small quantity or when a design cannot be replicated using spot colour Waterbased Dye Printing.
